Bogu is the armor worn over the uniform. The tare covers the hips, the do covers the chest, the men covers the head, and the kote cover the hands. Follow the videos for the knots.

Tie the tenugui
The tenugui is a cotton towel worn on the head, under the men. It soaks up sweat and gives the men something to hold. There are three common ties. Start with the hat fold.

Tie the tare and the do
The tare ties at the waist. The do sits on the chest, and its himo (cords) cross the shoulders. More than one tie is correct. Learn one until it stays put, then look at the others.
